Linda was born in Montgomery, Alabama on January 21, 1942 to Nita and the late Virgil Rawson. Linda made her home in Pensacola Florida, where she worked at Pensacola NAS as an electroplater and later at Sacred Heart Hospital as an pediatric and adolescence nurse until she retired. She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Marvin Kenneth Higgins; her uncle, John Cumbus, and father, Virgil Rawson. Linda is survived by her loving son, Christopher Shane Garner and his fianc?e,Yuntalaa LaDonna Davis both of Pensacola FL; her mother, Nita Rawson, Montgomery AL; her brother, Russell Rawson, Montgomery AL, and a very devoted aunt, Elisabeth Cumbus, Meridian, MS, and a host of family friends.Visitation for family and friends will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy.
