Linda Green-Collins, born in 1957, spouse of Rudolph-Doven-Collins Sr, daughter of Ruth-L, mother of Alissa, Jessica and Nathaniel Clark, died on February 25, 2004 at 46 years old.
Linda Green-Collins, 46, Bradenton and formerly of Sarasota, died Feb. 25, 2004. She was born July 12, 1957, in Sarasota and came to Bradenton five years ago from there. She was a teacher's aide for the Sarasota County School District. She was a member of Bethlehem First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Doven Collins Sr.; her mother, Ruth L. Hall of Sarasota; daughters Alissa Perry of Sarasota and Jessica Frazier of Bradenton; stepdaughters Anita Lane of Bradenton and Linda Collins of Wimauma; a son, Nathaniel Clark Jr. of Lewisville, Texas; stepsons Rudy Collins Jr. of San Francisco and Rod Collins of Minneapolis; sisters Hulda McKinnon, Clemistine McRae, Elois Green, Paulette McKnight, Turnese Bryant, and Mildred Green, all of Sarasota, and Gretchen Green of Orlando; brothers Eric Bolden, Alfred Green and Tom Green Jr., all of Sarasota; and six grandchildren. The visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, with a wake service from 6:15 to 7 p.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sarasota. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, Sarasota. Entombment will be in Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota. Chandler's Funeral Chapel, Sarasota, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Oak Park School, 7285 Proctor Road, Sarasota, FL 34241.
