Smith, age 63, of Kelly Avenue, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2013 at her home.She was born on March 21, 1950 in Syracuse, N.Y., daughter of George and Sheila (Johnson) Elieff and was a graduate of the Syracuse School System.On June 30, 1973 Linda and David H. Smith were united marriage in Syracuse, and have shared a loving union of over 40 years together.Prior to her retirement due to health reasons Linda was employed as a cashier at the Turning Stone Casino-Resort.She most enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she adored.Surviving is her husband, David H. Smith; her parents, George and Sheila Elieff; one son, Kevin (Rachael) Smith; one daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Lynch; grandchildren, Tyler Lynch and Alexis, Randell and Shaylyn; one sister Sharon Elieff, one sister-in-law; Cynthia Hennessey and several nieces and nephews. Services for Linda will be at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Vernon, N.Y.
