She was a resident of Laurel Co, KY and a member of Swiss Colony Baptist Church.Linda was a native of Buncombe County, a former resident of Candler, and former member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she played piano as a young girl.She was predeceased by her parents, John Welch Crawford and Alma Plemmons Crawford, her son, James Edgar "Jim" Davis, daughter, Lynn Davis Cathers, and a grandson.She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Davis George and husband, Rory, of Smithville, TN; her son, Craig Welch Davis of London, KY; her former husband and father of her children, Belton Davis, of London, KY; 10 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; sister, Sonja Crawford Rackes of Candler; son-in-law, Lanny Cathers, of London; daughter-in-law, Dora Farler Davis, of London; and special sister, Patsy Davis Hutchinson, of Candler.At Linda's request, there will be no services.A Memorial Service will be held in the future.Condolences may be made to Smith Funeral Home at www.smithfuneralhomewoodbury.net.
