COOPER, LINDA Age 61, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Stewart Edwards. She is survived by her sons, Michael Wayne Cooper (Jennifer Lea), Bruce Cooper (Lesley) and Chad Cooper (Angie); father, Hugh Edwards, Sr.; brother, Hugh Edwards, Jr. (Elaine); sisters, Barbara Watson, Carol Helmly and Sandra Edwards; grandchildren, Rachel Lea Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Paul Cooper, Angel Cooper, Kayla Smith, Isabella Smith, Briana Smith and Taylor Cooper; and longtime companion, Parks Duke. Linda was employed at the Village Market for over 10 years. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with her service at the chapel on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 beginning at 2 PM. The family requests casual attire for the services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. >>
