Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Collier-Butler Chapel for Ms. Linda Claire Miller, 57, Gadsden, who passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2008. The Revs. Bill Abbott and Frank Samuels will officiate with burial at Rainbow Memorial Park. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.Ms. Miller was a lifelong resident of Etowah County, a graduate of the Gadsden High School class of 1968 and Gadsden Business College. She was a member of James Memorial Baptist Church, Queen City Chapter of Eastern Star and had been a resident of Coosa Valley Health Care until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lee Miller and Mary Edith MillerSurvivors include her brother, David R. (Becky) Miller; cousins, Mary Jane Hunt and Ellen (Kent) Blocker; aunt, Martha Espy (W.T.) Edwards; and numerous other cousins.Pallbearers will be Kenny Johnson, Matthew Richards, Jerry Richards, Jack Collins, Jack Fuller and Thomas Hunt.Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff at Coosa Valley Health Care Center.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service today at the funeral home.
