Linda Carol Smith Sutton, 64, of Big Clifty, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elmina Weedman Smith; a brother, Alfred Smith; and two sisters, Patsy Smith and Elizabeth Smith.She is survived by her loving husband, the Rev. Jim Sutton of Big Clifty; two daughters, Sheri (Dusty) Sullivan of Eastview and Michelle (Steve) Gore of Big Clifty; two sisters, Sudie Hay of Big Clifty and Mildred Martin of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Ashley Sullivan, Chase Gore, Baylee Sullivan, Katie Sullivan Miller, McKinley Gore, Stetson Gore and Kennedi Gore; a great-grandchild, Parker Caroline Miller; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral is at noon Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Gospel Way Baptist Church in Cecilia with the Revs. Jim Sutton, Dusty Sullivan and Mac Sosh officiating. Burial follows at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Big Clifty.Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Gospel Way Baptist Church in Cecilia.
