-> Perry - Linda Beasley Johnson, 63, died at her residence Saturday, September 27, 2003. Mrs. Johnson was born in Portal, GA, grew up in Jacksonville, FL, and Vidalia, GA, and had resided in Houston County since 1967. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women and taught at Perry High and Perry Jr. High for more than 20 years. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Perry United Methodist Church, Muses Book Club, Akita Club and Perry Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Sealy Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Sealy Anne Johnson of Atlanta and Sandy Cooper (Tracey) of Perry; grandchild, Talton Cooper; sister, Betts Knutson (Bob) of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Chris Beasley (Helen) of Rincon, GA; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services: 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, at the Perry United Methodist Church.
