Linda B. Mason ENOREE, SC-- Linda Brown Mason, 70, formerly of 620 Old Rock Quarry Road, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010, at NHC Laurens. A native of Gaston County, NC, she was the wife of the late Broadus Dean Mason Sr. and the daughter of the late John Frost and Mary Pearl Armstrong Brown. She was a retired employee of Watts Mills and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Mason is survived by two daughters, Fran Garrett of Woodruff and Gina Holler of Spartanburg; three step-daughters, Vickie Price and Gina Bloomer of Gaffney and Julie Moss of Moore; two step-sons, Broadus Dean Mason Jr. and Robert Mason, both of Gaffney; a sister, Shirley Bolt of Shelby, NC; brother, Clyde Brown of North Carolina, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 PM on Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Forest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, May 3, 2010, at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Stribling Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Andy Parker. Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of a daughter, Fran Garrett, 12 Lawson Road, Woodruff.
