Nurse's AideWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Lillie Mae Stewart of Winter Haven died of lung failure Thursday (Dec. 12, 2002) at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven. She was 76.Born in Hanceville, Ala., on June 7, 1926, she came to Winter Haven from Dayton, Ohio, in 1961. She was a nurse's aide at Bishop's Court and Lake Wire Nursing Home. She was a Baptist.Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Stewart Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Epps, Auburndale; son, John N. Stewart Jr., Lakeland; brothers, Jay Connell, Hanceville, Ala., Harvey Connell, Lakeland; sisters, Elsie Harper, Alabama, Evelyn Edwards, Lakeland; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lakeland Funeral Home. Services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 15438 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33613.
