INMAN, SC-- Lillie Ophelia Williams, 83, of 5504 Highway 11, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the home of her daughter. She was the widow of Jimmy L. Williams and was first married to the late Clyde Bill Burns.Mrs. Williams was a native of Spartanburg County and was a daughter of the late Harvey and Mollie Culbreth Mahaffey. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.She is survived by daughters, Brenda OShields and Nancy Harris of Inman, Betty Faggart of Cowpens and Mildred Parker of Gaffney; a son, Harold D. Burns of Inman; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She reared three of her grandchildren in her home. She was predeceased by a daughter, Velma Williams; and a grandson, Greg Harris.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bill Hannon will officiate.
