UntitledLILLIE MAE HUDGINS MITCHELL1936 - 2007Lillie Mae Hudgins Mitchell was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 16, 1936 to Augustus and Lillie Richardson Hudgins. She passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007.She attended Catholic School in Norfolk. Lillie worked as a cook at Lighthouse Restaurant many years before retiring. She enjoyed bowling with New Frontier, Jet Set, and was in the Las Vegas Bowling Leagues. She was an avid Bingo Player.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mitchell; her parents; her brother, Augustus L. Hudgins; her sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Clinton Pettus; and six uncles.Lillie is survived by her son, Joseph Hudgins; two adopted sons, Maurice (Bradis) Pettus of Pensacola and James Pettus of Fairmont, WV; a sister, Rosa Lee Thompson of Seattle, Washington; a sister-in-law, Shirley Hudgins; an aunt, Eula Richardson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.A memorial celebration will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Warrington.
