Mrs. Lillie Marie Jackson, 88, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born September 19, 1920 in Stone County, Missouri, the daughter of Tom and Ethel Langley. Her husband, Wade; a son, Duain; her parents; four sisters; and three brothers preceded Lillie in death. She is survived by a son and his wife, John and Eva Jo Jackson; four daughters and their spouses, Iris and Ralph Chambers, Jaqueta and Rick Gamble, all of Hurley, Janie and Don Maples, Fairland, Okla., and Lawana Hood, Clever; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a brother in law, Clifford Leo Lawrence, Republic; a sister in law, Wanda Ruckman, Willard; and many other extended family and close friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Meadors Funeral Home, Clever, with Elder Bill Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery, Hurley.
