MITCHELL, Lillie Mae of Tampa, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at 2 pm at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 North 40th Street. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Miss Lillie Mae Mitchell was born Nov. 21, 1945, to Oscar Mitchell & Leola Ford in Meridian, MS. She was the only child of this union. Miss Lillie moved to Florida at the age of 16 where she remained for the rest of her life. Before retiring, she previously worked hard at numerous jobs as a supervisor at Nutmeg Factory, manager at The Grease Stand and personal caretaker. She has one god sister, Miss Hazel Smith and one god brother, Larry Freeman. She also had close friends, which included, Bennie K. O'Brien, Annie Bankston, Sandra Johnson, Penny McHenry, Cassandra Brown (Ron). She leaves to cherish her memories, special lifelong friend, Solomon Jordan; one son, Gregory Alfred Mitchell; daughter, Melody Williams & (Darryl); goddaughters, Tonya Nembhard & Yvonne Newsome; 10 grandchildren, Tasha, Ciara, Darnisha, Ashley, Ebony, Jemya Williams, Ricardo, Brandon, Janeshia, Pierre; 7 great-grandchildren, Dymond, Araina, Andy, Demond Jr., Kinsley, Jermier, & Miracle. She also leaves behind special friends of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. Remains will repose after 5 pm, Friday, Dec. 7th, Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N.
