Lillie Mae Johnson, 98, Bradenton and formerly of Sarasota, died Jan. 11, 2003. She was born June 30, 1904, in Sarasota and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of Tatum Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters Lela Mae Campbell and Mary C. Jones, both of Sarasota, Gladys M. Fox of Bonifay, Barbara A. Maddox of North Port and Shirley G. Ramsey of Live Oak; sons William H. of Livingston, Mont., and Charles E. and John H., both of Bradenton; sisters Sallie Matthews and Mildred Martin, both of Sarasota; 29 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Braden River Cemetery, Bradenton. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, South Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Tatum House at Crowley Museum, 16450 Myakka Road, Sarasota, FL 34240.
