Lillie Louise Davis, 88, of Cherokee, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008.Visitation will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The service will follow in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Shaw Cemetery. Glen Murks will officiate.Mrs. Davis was a native of Leighton.She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Bonzy) Davis; sisters, Rosie Hornbuckle, Bulah Greenway, Gertie Bolin and Effie Barnes; and great-nephews, Gary Alexander and Charles Cottingham Sr.Mrs. Davis is survived by her nieces, Ada Alexander, of Cherokee, and Pauline Walker, of Truman, Ark.; nephew, Leman Bolin, of Leighton; great-great-nieces, Vicki Potts and husband, Steven, of Sheffield, and Rhonda Alexander, of Columbia, Tenn.; and great-great-nephew, Ancel Cottingham and wife, Tammy, of Cherokee.Pallbearers will Richard Davis, Ricky Davis, Chris Rickman, Jonathon Romans, Randy Scott and Justin Reaves.Special thanks to A&E Hospice and Amy Ray.Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
