MITCHELL, LILLIAN LOUISE JOHNSTON, 101, of Louisville, died Wednesday at Caritas Medical Center. She was born in Decatur, AL, on February 20, 1903, to George and Beulah Smith Johnston and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mitchell. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred Ballard (Joseph) and JoAnn Haf- enbreidel (Lou); seven grandsons, Jim, Phil and Allen Ballard and David, Mark, Keith and Paul Hafenbreidel; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at her church, 1104 S. 6th St., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.
