Lillian Lerner Of Horseheads/Dundee Age 89, of Horseheads, NY, formerly of Fishkill, NY, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. Mrs. Davis was born December 14, 1914 in Meade, NE, the daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Goldberg Lerner. She married the late Dr. Joseph Davis on September 18, 1936 in IA, and he passed away on January 30, 1983. Dr. Davis was a co-founder of the Mid Hudson Medical Group in Fishkill, NY. She has lived locally since 1990. She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Ryan of New York City, Caroline (Robert) Eckhardt of State College, PA, and Nancy Rebecca "Rivka" Davis of Dundee, NY; a brother, Gene Lerner of Rome, Italy; three sisters, Jann Brodinsky of Des Moines, WA, Tillie Olsen of San Francisco, CA, and Vicki (Monty) Bergman of Penbrook Pines, FL; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Lerner of Bethesda, MD in 1992. There are no prior calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday (March 14) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at the convenience of the family in the spring. The family gratefully requests no flowers and wishes memorial contributions be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
