Lillian Emma Clark Grimes, 78, of Elizabethtown, went to her heavenly home Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.Ms. Grimes was born June 29, 1934, in Elizabethtown. She spent her life devoted to her family. She was a member of Bethesda Ministries (The Elizabethtown Church of God of Prophecy). She was retired from Crucible Steel Magnetics, where she worked for more than 30 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh L. Clark and Lillie Mae Clark; a brother, Paul Clark; and a son-in-law, Roger Bowman.Survivors include her four daughters, Phyllis and Mel Hash, Dolores and Perry Rankin, Lora Ann Bowman and Tammy Daniels, all of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, Julia Bowman, Kristi (Jason) Riggs, Alan (Trista) Nugent Jr., Aaron Bowman, Amanda (Jason) Graham, Brandon Rankin, Madison (David) Greer and Spencer Daniels; 17 great-grandchildren; a beloved sister, Louise Grimes; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Ministries, 2738 Ring Road. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.Visitation is 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, and 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
