Lillian E. (Murphy) Sullivan, age 97, passed away peacefully, in the company of her loving family, on Tuesday, April 6, 2011. Born in Milton and a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 31, Mrs. Sullivan was a loving and supportive wife and mother. A talented seamstress, she was a late member of the Naval Terrace Bowling League, the MA Catholic Order of Foresters and a former member of St. Angela 60 and Over Club. The beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Sullivan; she is survived by her devoted daughters; Sr. Margaret L. Sullivan, CSJ of Brighton, Patricia A. Adamczyk of Hyde Park and Dorothy F. Lucas of Newfields, NH. She was the sister of the late Mary Etheridge, Marguerite Burwell and Edward and John Vincent Murphy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Angela Church, 1540 Blue Hill Ave., Mattapan, Monday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
