ROTH Lillian C. (Hurley) Roth of Sandwich, formerly of Whitman, passed away at Caape cod Nursing home in Buzzards by on Feb. 11, 2007, at the age of 90. Lililan was the wife of the late Henry C. Roth, who died in 1985; loving mother of Ann Cass of Sandwich, Barbara O'Hear of East Sandwich, Mary MacDonald and her husband Rusty of East Sandwich, Richard Roth and his wife Gail of Stoughton; and her daughter-in-law, Catherine Roth of East Falmouth. She was predeceased by her son, Robert of Braintree and her great-grandson, Robert A. Roth of East Falmouth. She is survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, as well as many nieces and nephews; loving sister of Margaret Monroe of Florida and the late Joseph and William Hurley, Eleanor Ryan and Marie Henderson. Mrs. Roth was a longtime employee of Macy's in Boston, Braintree and Hyannis and a member of Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich. Mrs. Roth dedicagted her life to her family and helping others in many ways. She will be greatly missed. A reception of the body and wake service will begin at 4 p.m., visitation will continue until 7 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 324 Quaker MeetingHouse Road, East Sandwich, on Wednesday, Feb. 14. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Feb. 15, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Sandwich Town Cemetery, Sandwich.
