LALONDE, Liliette “Lily“ - March 11, 1941 - September 6, 2007. It is with deep sorrow that the family announce the passing of Lily Lalonde after a short illness surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Beloved wife for 48 years of Jean Guy “Gene“ Lalonde of Elliot Lake and loving mother of Dale Lalonde (Debbie) of North Bay and Shelley-Ann Bushey (Allen) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear grand - maman of Lydia, Stephanie, Tia and Kailey. Dear daughter of Clarence and the late Emilia Michaud of Sturgeon Falls and sister of Joyce Courville (Rhéal) of Palm Springs, CA, Anna LeBlanc (Roger) of Sturgeon Falls and JoAnn Lennon (Larry) also of Sturgeon Falls. Also survived by 3 nephews and 3 nieces. Friends were received at the ELLIOT LAKE FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTRE (36 Ontario Ave.,) on Sunday afternoon & evening. The mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday September 10th, 2007 at 11:00 am from Our Lady of Fatima Parish with Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sturgeon Falls. Memorial contributions to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre, the Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program or the St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake would be appreciated by the family. 10820785
