HAMILTON, Peggie - After her 15 year battle with Alzheimers, Lilian Grace “Peggie” Hamilton passed away at the Erin Mills Lodge Nursing Home, Mississauga on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her loving husband J. Michael Hamilton (1986). Beloved mother of Barbara Anne (Bobbi) Moore and her husband Frank of Tillsonburg, Alan J.G. Hamilton and his wife Carla of Meaford. Loving grandmother to Leighann Rankin and her husband Paul, Scott Moore, Chad Hamilton, Sean Hamilton and Kimberley Hamilton. Special friend of Bette Johnston, Dorothy Kane, Olive Halcrow and many others. Long time resident of Weston, ON and Kingston, ON. Sister to the late Edward C. Wright (1993) and his wife the late June Wright (1999). Sister-in-law to Patrick Hamilton and his wife Shirley of Nepean, ON. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Special friend of the late Jack Crawford (1993) of Kingston. Daughter of the late Edward and Hilda (Mansell) Wright. Peggie was a past president and LMSM of the Rangers Branch # 213, Weston, ON, C.W.A.C., Veteran of W.W. II (Staff Sergeant). Cremation has taken place. The service and burial of Peggie will commence at a later date.
