Lewis Baker Henderson, 87, died Dec. 4, 2008, at Atlantic Healthcare Center. He was born in Binghamton, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach 21 years ago, coming from his birthplace. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was a member of the Lakewood Park United Methodist Church. He was a member of Vero Beach Highlands Owl Patrol. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy R. Henderson of Vero Beach; daughter, Joyce A. Vonada of Vero Beach; son, Wayne Vonada; sister, Marion Dehaney of Johnson City, N.Y.; and one grandson. SERVICES: At the request of the family, services will be private.
