CLARK, LESTER S., 92 Ocala - Mr. Lester S. Clark, 92, passed away December 7, 2006 at the Legacy Hospice House. He was born in Northampton, Ma. And moved to Florida in 1978. He was a Design Engineer, a graduate of Holton High School, Danvers, Ma class of 1932, and received his engineering degree from MIT. He was a trained vocalist in the Boston Handel Hayden Society, and enjoyed music and playing the electronic organ. After retirement he continued to keep up with the latest in electronic technology. He served in the U. S. Army in WWII serving as a Lieutenant in No. Africa, Belgium, and France. Afterward he joined the reserves and retired as a Major. He is survived by a sister Ruth H. Durgin of No. Andover, Ma and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers S. Arnold Clark, Marshall C. Clark, and a sister Janis R. Bessey. Final services and interment will be in Chester, N.H. ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES BRUCE CHAPEL WEST is in charge of arrangements.
