Lester E. Sanborn, 85     FALMOUTH -- Lester E. Sanborn, 85, of Falmouth passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, after a brief illness with his loved ones at his side.     He was born in Marlborough, Mass. on March 7, 1922, the son of Helen Hennessey and Charles Sanborn. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces. In his younger years he worked at Portland Billiards making pool tables. He later worked at Portland Stove Foundry for over 30 years. Lester was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. His family was very near and dear to him.     Lester was predeceased by the love of his life, Barbara E. Sanborn on Oct. 1, 1997. He is survived by his children, Nancy Burnell of Raymond, Tammy Russell of North Yarmouth, and Roxanne Libby of Seattle, Wash.; three sons, Frank of Portland, Timothy of Gray, and Buddy of Falmouth. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
