FARRELL, Leslie John (1928 - 2008) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our most beloved Leslie in the comfort and presence of his family and the dedicated staff of The Hospice at May Court on July 11, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear husband of 57 years to Isobel and beloved father to Lynn, Kevin (Donna), Gwen, John (Robin), Bonnie Jean (Allan), Daniel (Liz) and Patrick (Norine) and special grampa to Ryan, Meaghan, Jenna, Caitlin, Katie, Spencer, Justin, Liam and Sara. Dear son of the late Ambrose and Elizabeth Farrell, and is predeceased by brothers Denzil and Cecil and our special angel Emma. He also leaves many friends and relatives throughout the Ottawa Valley. At dad's request there will be no visitation. The family will receive friends at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata on Tuesday July 15, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Dad's final resting place will be in the St. Michael's parish cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour.
