Obituary of Leslie Davis

DAVIS _ Leslie (Terry) Terry Davis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2003 in Richmond, BC. He was born June 11th, 1929 in Albury, NSW, Australia, fifth generation of one of Australia's original pioneer families. Terry was the devoted Husband of Thelma and the loving Father of Kilyn, Sharon and Rick. His grandchildren Tyler and Kira will fondly remember Terry, as will his son-in-law Peter, and son-in-law Douglas. Terry is also survived by his brother Bob and sister Norma, along with numerous nieces and nephews in Australia and Canada. Terry loved people. He loved to chat to everyone from the corner grocery store clerk to the people he met on his daily walks in Steveston. He enjoyed dancing, golfing, fishing and long walks in the forest. We will always hold dearly our memories of camping in the interior of BC and Long Beach, crab fishing at Belcarra, and digging for clams on the beaches of White Rock. Terry's family would like to pass along their thanks to the staff at Richmond General Hospital ICU and extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kliman for all his care and compassion. Like all of Australia's children, Terry loved the sun. When next you feel it warm on your face, look to the heavens, and remember him. Heaven is no doubt a livelier place now with your wonderful, giving spirit Dad. We will love and cherish you always...
