WALL, Leonard On January 17th, 2011. Late of Maple Ridge, B.C., age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Rose Mary in 1995. Survived by daughter Patricia (Wayne) Pearce, Calgary, Alta.; son William (Debby), Calgary, Alta.; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 1 brother Stan. Leonard left the family farm in Saskatchewan at age 17 and joined the Canadian Navy where he served the war years in the Merchant Marine. After military service, he eventually settled in Maple Ridge, B.C. and worked for the Maple Ridge School District. He retired at 60 and spent his retirement square dancing and enjoying family and friends.
