Leonard James Bly III, 56, Gardens of Gulf Cove, Port Charlotte, died March 7, 2004. He was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Fall River, Mass., and came to our local area 10 years ago from San Diego. A Navy career man of 22 years, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his parents, Leonard and Florence of Port Charlotte; a daughter, Corrine M. of San Diego; sons Leonard J. IV of San Diego, Richard of El Cajon, Calif., and Michael W. of Port Charlotte; and a grandson. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge.
