MOULTONBORO — Leo Paradise, 78 of Castle Shore Road, died May 18, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.He was born May 31, 1926, in Fall River, Mass., the son of the late Arthur and Sadie (Dupuis) Paradise. He grew up in Fall River, moved to Swansea, Mass., in 1952 and moved to Moultonboro in 1970.Mr. Paradise worked as a Merchant Marine for 47 years for Sea Farers International Union. He was an avid trout and ice fisherman and enjoyed watching TV and sports.Survivors include his wife Yahoko (Nomoto) Paradise of Moultonboro, two sons, Ronald Paradise of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dana Paradise of Moultonboro; a daughter Gail Craveira of Meredith, two sisters, Lauretta Dew of Portsmouth, Va., and Cecile Neville of Swansea, Mass.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Services will be private.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Ossipee is in charge of the arrangements.
