Born August 9, 1911 in Neuhof, Germany. Died peacefully in Toronto on Sunday, September 15, 2002, after a brief illness. Fled Nazi Germany and after many adventures, settled in Canada. Obtained his PhD. in Chemistry at McGill University and worked as a chemist for the Federal Health Protection Branch, eventually representing Canada at the High Commission in London, England. A much loved and loving husband and father. Survived by his wife Gisela, daughters Marion and Ruth and grandchildren Rachel and Jacob. A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Osgoode ON. The Ottawa Citizen, 18-09-2002
