Leo A. Morin April 16, 1925 - March 5, 2010 Norwich - Leo A. Morin 84, of Norwich died Friday morning at the Norwichtown Rehab & Care Center. He was born in Woonsocket, R.I. on April 16, 1925 the son of the late Frank and Malvina (Dufresne) Morin. Leo was employed for 27 years as a steel cutter at Electric Boat in Groton retiring on December 28, 1985. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Taftville. Leo was an avid Red Sox fan, Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid golfer. On June 6, 1948 he married Althea (Perkins) Morin in Fitchville who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by one sister, Jeannette Carboni of Warwick, R.I., nieces and close friends Jean and George Odgers of Norwich. He was predeceased by one brother Henry Morin and three sisters, Rita Chossek, Constance Fournier and Florence Vigneau and his beloved pet Melanie Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home 75 South B. St. TAftville will be Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Jospeh Cemetery Norwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church Parish Life Center P.O. Box 208 Taftville, CT. 06380
