ObituaryLENORA MAE TOMPKINSITHACA - Lenora Mae Tompkins, age 84, of Ellis Hollow Road Apts., Ithaca, NY, passed away peacefully at Lakeside Nursing Home, Ithaca, on Friday, September 8th, 2006. Born Dec. 12, 1921 at Newfield, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Flossie Hendricks Tompkins. A life area resident, she enjoyed the family picnics, holiday gatherings and parties when she could be with her nieces and nephews. In recent times her niece, Jan Jacoby, and great-nephew, Mark Jacoby, cared for her in a loving and compassionate way. Her family thanks the staff of Lakeside Nursing Home and Hospicare for their care and compassion.Survivors include her sister-in-law, JoAnn Tompkins; her brother-in-law, Bob (Jean) Lundy; her nieces and nephews, Kathy Kilts, Jan (Jake) Jacoby, Rick (Sandy) Lundy, Dan (Diane) Lundy, Jim West, Linda West, Dave Stillman, Lori (Rick) LaFave, Brad (Kathy) Tompkins, Linda (Howard) Matson, Shirley Tompkins, Stephen (RoseAnn) Tompkins; and many great nieces and nephews. Nora was predeceased by her sisters, Thelma West and Mary Lundy; a brother, Dick Tompkins; her nieces, Judy Stillman and Patty West; her nephews, Mike West and Dick Kilts.Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev.
