MILLEROCTOBER 9, 2014Lelar Elizabeth Miller, 67 died October 9, 2014 at Kinder Hospital, Green Cove Springs, FL. Born August 23, 1947 in Tallahassee, FL. She was a graduate of the original Lincoln High School, Class of 1966. Lelar Elizabeth was a graduate of Florida A & M University. Upon graduating from FAMU, she was employed by Lee County School System in Ft. Myers, FL. Lelar was an elementary school teacher for the Lee County School System for 33 years.Lelar Elizabeth leaves to cherish her life; two sisters, Carlene Miller Gillis, Tallahassee, FL and Minister Gwendolyn Miller Black, Sanford, FL; one brother-in-law, Pastor Israel Black, Jr., Sanford, FL; one niece, Allyson Black, Odenton, Maryland; one nephew, Israel Black III, Sanford, FL and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, the Late Edward & Gertrude Miller, an adorable niece & Goddaughter; the late Robin Aleah Black.A Family Hour will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 from 6-7 pm at Strong and Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Homegoing Service will be Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Watson Temple Institutional Church of God in Christ, 665 W. Brevard Street, Tallahassee, FL with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
