JONES, LEE V., 85, of Louisville, died Saturday. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Zion United Church of Christ , VFW Post 3636, a Kentucky Colonel and a retired iron worker for Union Local #70. He is survived by his wife, Edna M. (Merkel) Jones; a daughter, Judy L. Tobbe (Toby); a son, Johnny Jones (Robin); five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Louisville.
