Funeral for Lee Michael Henley, 24, of Athens will be Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Athens with Billy Curtis, Dr. Curtis Coleman and the Rev. Jimmy Bassham officiating and McConnell Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Henley, who died Sunday, July 31, 2005, in Meridian, Miss., was born Dec. 16, 1980, in Norfolk, Va. He earned his bachelor of science degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi. He worked for Isom’s Orchard, Macaroni Grill and Athens News Courier. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Jesse and Beverly Henley; his fiancee’, Paige Greenhaw of Athens; his grandfather, Melvin B. Henley of Murray, Ky.; his stepgrandmother, Rita Henley of Murray, Ky.; and his great-grandmothers, Ruthie Mohler of Kirksey, Ky., and Ella J. Milam of Curtis Station, Miss. Pallbearers will be Shane Martin Henley, James Barnett, Blair Whitt, Daniel Whitt, Scott McCormick and Wes Arnold.Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Whitson, Steven Henley, Stanley Henley, Britt Barley, Jim Creasy, Bill Burnett, Rusty Bouchillon, Jackie Greenhaw, Shawn Eslick, Matthew Bedingfield, Cameron Henley, Scott Bouchillon, John Salzman, John Kerry Salzman, David Bouchillon, John Brinkley, Crutcher Smith and Cale Abernathy.
