LEE ESTHER WHITE "MIKE" EAST CHICAGO, IN Lee Esther White "Mike", age 77, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 at Community Hospital in Munster. She is survived by three grandchildren: Yanci "Deverick Dixon" Muhammad Mumba of Arlington, TX, Eboni Taylor and Shayna Walker both of East Chicago; one great-grandchild, Heavenly Hodges; one sister, Barbara Brown of East Chicago; one brother, Joseph (Peggy) Edwards of Rochester, NY; one aunt, Bessie Harper of Chicago, IL; two sisters-in-law: Erma Monroe and Bernice Davis both of East Chicago; two brothers-in-law: Cassel (Jean) White of Gary and Charlie Brown of East Chicago; goddaughter, Kay Nasilosti of Hammond; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank White; two daughters: Gayle Dixon and Kimberly White; and one brother, Lee Edwards, Jr. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodwill Baptist Church, 5119 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Cedric Howard officiating. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at Goodwill Baptist Church.
