Lee Anderson (nee Blackshaw) August 24, 1950 August 25, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Leeanna Anderson announces her passing early Tuesday morning. Lee was born in Owen Sound, ON to parents, Wilfred and Vera Blackshaw. She is survived by her husband, Ed; children, Skipp and Mariel; brothers and sisters, David (Debbie), Keith (Lois), Betty-Jane (Heiko), Kevin (Jennifer), Joanne; and seven nieces and nephews. Lee was a devoted nurse for 30 years at St. Paul's Hospital. She loved to golf, take care of her yard and chat with family and friends over coffee. Lee was a loving mother who was exceptionally close with her children, with their health and happiness first on her mind. We thank all the staff at RUH and St. Paul's for their excellent care, along with all of her friends and co-workers who were always by her side. A memorial for Lee will be held at Meewasin Valley United Church at 327 Pinehouse Drive, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A tea will follow the service in Lee's much loved backyard at 554 Wathaman Crescent.
