MEIKLE, Leanne Edith (nee Owen) On the beautiful sunny morning of Sunday, March 2nd, 2008, in a beautiful room overlooking the Rideau River, at the young age of 42, our dear Leanne and Mom passed away peacefully from her short battle with cancer at the Hospice at May Court. Loving wife and best friend to David Meikle and even more loving and proud mother of Lyndsey and Krista. Predeceased by her mother Victoria Ann Owen. Sister of Paul Patrick Owen, his wife Angela Latour and aunt to Katelyn and Justin. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Wednesday, March 5th from 11-2 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Leanne's life will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Roman Catholic Church, 5338 Bank Street, Gloucester on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Hospice at May Court in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
