BARRIENT, LEAH LAVIGNE A resident of Kenner, she died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Kenner. She was 88 and a native of Ponchatoula. Visitation at Mitchell Cemetery, Ponchatoula, from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, until graveside service at 11 a.m. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Barrient McCraney, Goodbee, and Vera Barrient, Kenner; granddaughter, Tiffany A. Arthur, River Ridge; and brother, Leslie Lavigne, Ponchatoula. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leá Poche Lavigne; husband, Hubert Barrient; three sisters, Estelle Poche, Oliva Verneuil and Noalie Lavigne; and four brothers, Emerson, Percy, Everette and Herbert Lavigne.
