JOHNSON, Leah Evelyn (nee Tetz) Leah passed away peacefully on October 18, 2014. Leah was 89 years old and resided most of her adult life in Drumheller, AB, Courtenay, BC, and Victoria, BC. Her final three years were in the care of the wonderful staff at Acacia Ty Mawr Care Home at Shawnigan Lake, BC. Leah was born in Rockyford, AB on June 22, 1925. She will be remembered by her sons Jerry (Wendy), Arbutus Ridge, BC; Keith (Gloria), Calgary AB; and Al (Lyn), Red Deer, AB. She also leaves behind six grandchildren Kevin (Tracey), Lisa (Dominic), and Debbie, Tammy (Shawn), Jeff (Tina), Jodie (Ben) and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one older sister Goldie Lee, Lousana, AB; as well as numerous friends, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her very dear friend Doreen Gibson, her daughter Linda (Bob) and son Bobby (Shelley) and their families, Courtenay, BC, who were like family in every way. Leah was predeceased by her beloved daughter Judith Ann Lydia, (February 19, 1946 - September 13, 1951). Leah's cremated remains will be laid to rest at a private gathering at a future date to be determined. Donations may be made in Leah's name to the Mustard Seed Church at 625 Queens Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8T 1L9. Condolences may be shared online at www.dignity.memorial.com
