JACKSON Lawrence William April 26, 1929 - August 22, 2008 Passed away peacefully in palliative care in Royal Columbian Hospital surrounded by his family. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Walter and Emma Jackson, brother Arnold, sister-in-law Peggy, and brother-in-law Phil. He is lovingly remembered by his brother George (Dagmar), sisters Ruth (Sid) and Dorothy (Tony), and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Rosemary, sons Peter (Christine), Scott (Griseldis), daughter Sandra (Dan), and daughter-in-law Coreen. He was a loving Grandpa to Tessa, Ian, Cameron, Genevieve, and Jacob. Lawrence was a realtor in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland for many years. He enjoyed skiing and sailing in his early years. In later years he was an avid stunt-kite flyer and wood carver, but his family was the most important thing to him. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. S. Rajabali for her care and compassion, and to the staff at Queens Park Care Centre and the Royal Columbian Hospital. At Lawrence's request there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia or a charity of your choice.
