Lawrence Richard Fortier 1938-2013 Lawrence Richard Fortier, 74, passed away September 14, 2013 at his home in Barefoot Bay, FL. Mr. Fortier was born September 21, 1938 in Dover, NH. Before retiring he worked for the construction industry and was a member of the Local Union 104 and Plumbers and Pipefitters, Chicopee, MA. He was a resident of and raised his family in Brattleboro before retiring to Barefoot Bay, FL 16 years ago. Mr. Fortier was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Sebastian, FL. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen Fortier, Barefoot Bay, FL., daughters; Kathleen Reed, Panama City, FL., Laurie Perkins, Booth Bay Harbor, Maine., Christina Doucette, Dummerston, VT., sons; James Fortier, Sebastian, FL., David Fortier, Vernon, VT., brothers; Joseph Fortier, William Fortier, Norman Fortier, several nieces and nephews, and 8 grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: A visitation will be at Seawinds Chapel, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:00, with a service following at 4:00.
