Lawrence Edgar Lee Lawrence (Larry) was born in Alabama, but spent most of his life living in South Florida. He worked for Kelly Tractor Company (in Clewiston and Fort Myers) for 44 years and retired in 1984 in Ft. Myers, Florida. He was active in Eastern Star, Masons, and the Rotary Club. He has lived for the past 13 years in Tallahassee, Florida, where he attended Killearm United Methodist Church.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Virginia Lee (Ginny) in 1962, and his loving wife Dorothy Wadsworth Lee (Dot) in 2001. They were married for 62 years. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Lee Dance (and husband Donnie David Dance); two grandchildren, Lawrence Eric Dance, and William Earle Dance( and wife, Nancy); six beautiful great grandchildren, Thalia, 16,Victoria, 14,Jeffrey, 12, Morgan, 10, Sophia, 4, and Luke, 2. Services will be held in Clewiston, Florida at the First Methodist Church on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 5 p.m. EDT. Visitation with the family will be at 4 p.m. EDT in the Fellowship Hall of the church.Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308, 1-850-878-5310. Hospice provided loving care and comfort for Lawrence and the entire family during his last days at home.
