1944-2014 WATERVILLE - Laurinda passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Feb. 12, 2014 at the age of 69. Laura, as she preferred to be called, was born on Christmas Day 1944, the daughter of Pauline Farrell Bailey. Laura worked as an office manager for a chiropractic office in Winslow for a number of years and was very involved with Project Graduation at Winslow High School and many other community programs. She is survived by her father, Stanley Bailey, daughters Gena Denis and Kimberly Metten, stepson Jacob Bourgoin and her grandchildren, Katelynn, Richard, Sebastian, Tyler, Leah and Seth. She will be very sadly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Pauline Bailey and her brother, David Alward. The family would like to thank the staff of the Redington Fairview Hospital for the excellent care provided for Laura and her family during her final days. There will be a graveside service at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Redington Fairview General Hospital in P.O. Box 468, Skowhegan, ME 04976. Arrangements under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service, Skowhegan.
