MILLER _ Laurie "Lawrence" Laurie "Lawrence" Miller, beloved husband of Mrs. Gertrude Miller of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on April 30, 2007, at the age of 80 years. Laurie will be lovingly remembered by his children, Brian (Mary), Verne (Judy), Vickie; his stepchildren, Byron (Linda), Joey (Alanna), Beda and Sandra; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Laurie was predeceased by his first wife Joyce, infant daughter Laurie and his older brother William "Dusty". Laurie was born in Grainger, AB and moved to Calgary at an early age, living out his life there. For many years he operated East Trail Auto Service along with his father and brother. After that, he was the Maintenance Superintendent for Loffland Bros. Drilling until retirement. He spent his last years enjoying his garden, fishing, golfing and other hobbies.
