GERVAIS, Laurette (née Malette) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Val Caron, Friday, June 28, 2002, at the age of 71 years. Daughter of the late Mathias Malette and of the late Mathilda Malette (née Martel). Wife of the late Gerard Gervais (predeceased in 1969). Loving mother of Gilles (wife Denise) and Yvan (wife Lorraine) both of Sudbury, Suzanne Speirs (husband Robert "Bob") of Val Caron, Alain (friend Ryan) of New York, Francine Hébert (husband Jean-Guy) of Azilda and Nicole Henri (husband Yvon) of Hanmer. Dear sister of Rhéal Malette (wife Eileen), Donald Malette (wife Diane), Denise Henri (husband Constant predeceased) and Gisèle Hudymen (husband Pete predeceased) all of Sudbury and Marje Henri (friend Len) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren, Lorrie, Jerry, Pamela, Camille, Micheline, Melissa, Candice, "Murphy" Stephanie, Shawn, Nathalie and Melanie and by one great-granddaughter, Taylor. Her family was her pride and joy. A very giving, unselfish, loving lady, she had a bright sense of humour. A very proud person, she took great care of herself and others. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. East, (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Saturday from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 1, 2002, at 10:30 a.m., in the Notre-Dame du Rosaire Church, Blezard Valley.
