Mrs. Johnson was born in Glasgow, Scotland she came to the US during WW II and settled in Hempstead, NY, she lived in Mahwah, NJ and Orlando, FL before moving to Hawthorne in 2004. Laura was an accountant of 45 years for A. Johnson Machine Works, Brooklyn, NY and Elmwood Park, NJ. She was a member of the Franklin Lakes Methodist Church, Franklin Lakes, NJ, an active volunteer for the Salvation Army, Orlando, FL, the Order of the Eastern Star, Ramsey, NJ and the Ramsey Country Club.
