Mrs. Laura Jenkins Williams - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Laura Jenkins Williams, 84 , entered into rest on Monday March 2, 2009 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was a native of Jasper County, SC, attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a graduate of Woodville High School. She was a member of the United House of Prayer for All People where she served on the Nurse's Board. She was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Williams, Sr., her parents; Ben and Loretta Shig Jenkins, Benjamin Brown, William Jenkins, Hattie Johnson, and Joe Johnson. She is survived by three sons; Frank (Carolyn) Williams, Apostle Melvin (Mary) Williams, Robert (Arlene) Williams, all of Savannah, GA, one daughter; Margaret Lindsey of Largo, MD, one brother; Benjamin M. Jenkins of NYC, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
